Effective July 14, 2026
Terms of Service
These terms govern use of TripQuorum's collaborative travel planning workspace, public guides, sample trip, and optional public story features.
Eligibility and accounts
Users must be at least 13 years old and able to agree to these terms. Account information must be accurate, credentials must be protected, and users are responsible for activity performed through their accounts. An invitation does not authorize access to any trip other than the workspace identified by that invite.
Planning service only
TripQuorum helps groups discuss, compare, and draft travel plans. It is not a travel agency and does not book flights, lodging, restaurants, tours, transportation, or paid activities. Users must verify prices, availability, entry rules, safety guidance, accessibility, routes, cancellation terms, and other important details with authoritative providers before acting.
AI output
AI suggestions may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. They are decision aids rather than professional, legal, medical, financial, safety, immigration, or booking advice. AI output does not override traveler consent or authorize a purchase. Users are responsible for reviewing a proposed plan before sharing or using it.
Acceptable use
Users may not use TripQuorum to break the law; infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights; distribute malware; deceive or impersonate others; facilitate unauthorized surveillance; harass, threaten, exploit, or discriminate against people; or publish sexual exploitation, graphic sexual, hateful, dangerous, fraudulent, or otherwise abusive material.
Users may not scrape the service, bypass access controls, probe private workspaces, automate fake traffic or engagement, interfere with normal operation, or attempt to manipulate advertising impressions or clicks. Users must never click ads for the purpose of supporting TripQuorum or encourage others to do so.
User content and rights
Users retain rights in content they submit. They grant TripQuorum a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate the selected features. A user publishing a story or photo confirms that they have permission to share it and that publication does not violate another person's privacy, publicity, or intellectual-property rights.
TripQuorum may restrict, archive, or remove content or accounts that violate these terms, create legal or security risk, or harm the service. Public stories are not monetized with Google ads and are excluded from search indexing unless a separate editorial review process is introduced.
Advertising
Advertising may appear only on manually reviewed TripQuorum guide articles. Ads must remain distinguishable from navigation and editorial content. Users may not interact with ads artificially, and TripQuorum does not promise that any advertised product is suitable for a particular traveler.
Service availability
Features may be updated, limited, or discontinued, and temporary interruptions may occur. TripQuorum does not guarantee that every feature, third-party service, map, AI response, or notification will be continuously available. Users should keep independent copies of critical travel confirmations and documents.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how information and advertising technologies are handled.
Changes to these terms
The effective date will be updated when these terms materially change. Continued use after a change means the updated terms apply to later activity.
