Cookie Policy
This page explains the browser storage and similar technologies used by TripQuorum and the limited circumstances in which Google advertising technology may operate.
Essential storage
Authentication cookies keep a signed-in user connected to the correct account and trip workspaces. Security and request-state values help complete sign-in, prevent cross-site request abuse, and maintain expected navigation. These technologies are needed for account features to function and are not used to sell private trip information.
Advertising technology
Google AdSense is disabled by default. It can be enabled only on manually reviewed guide articles after the site is approved and required consent controls are active. When enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers to serve, limit, secure, and measure advertising.
Depending on a visitor's region and consent choice, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Private account, trip, expense, map, message, receipt, and photo data are not supplied to Google as advertising-targeting parameters.
Consent choices
In regions where consent is required, advertising must remain off until a visitor's choice is collected through a Google-certified consent management platform. That interface provides the controls for accepting, rejecting, or revisiting optional advertising choices. TripQuorum's deployment also has a separate consent- readiness switch that prevents ad code from loading prematurely.
Browser controls
Most browsers let users inspect, block, or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in and private collaboration features from working. Browser controls do not necessarily remove preferences stored by a separate consent platform, so users should also use that platform's privacy-options control when available.
More information
Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services. TripQuorum's broader data practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
