About TripQuorum
Group trips need a decision process, not another noisy group chat.
TripQuorum is a collaborative travel-planning workspace for groups that need to turn different budgets, schedules, interests, and constraints into one workable plan. It keeps the reasoning behind a trip visible so the loudest person does not have to make every decision.
The problem we are solving
Most group trips begin with a stream of links and opinions. One person wants a packed itinerary, another wants unplanned time, and someone else has a dietary, mobility, or budget constraint that is easy to lose in the scroll. A spreadsheet can organize details, but it rarely explains why the group chose one option over another.
TripQuorum treats planning as a sequence of decisions. Travelers add ideas and constraints, compare options, vote, see route and cost implications, and then turn the result into an itinerary. The goal is not to automate the people out of the trip. It is to give them a shared record of the tradeoffs they agreed to.
How the planning workflow works
- 1. Name the constraints. Record dates, budget ranges, pace, accessibility needs, food requirements, and non-negotiable commitments before collecting dozens of ideas.
- 2. Compare real options. Put destinations, activities, lodging, and routes in one place so each choice can be judged against the same criteria.
- 3. Make preferences visible. Votes and comments show both enthusiasm and concern. A useful decision records objections instead of treating silence as agreement.
- 4. Build a realistic draft. The itinerary should respect travel time, recovery time, reservation windows, and the group's agreed pace—not merely fit the maximum number of pins onto a map.
What AI does—and does not do
TripQuorum uses AI to summarize preferences, identify conflicts, explain tradeoffs, and draft compromise options. Those outputs are planning aids, not verified travel advice. AI can miss recent closures, visa rules, safety guidance, accessibility details, prices, and reservation availability.
Travelers remain responsible for checking critical details with official providers. The product is a planning and coordination tool; it is not a travel agency and does not make bookings.
Our publishing standard
The TripQuorum guides are written to help a group make a concrete decision. They favor checklists, examples, and reusable decision rules over destination hype. We distinguish product capabilities from general planning advice and note when facts must be checked with an airline, hotel, government, or other primary source.
