Editorial and Advertising Policy

TripQuorum publishes practical group-travel planning guides and a product demonstration. This policy explains how editorial pages are created, reviewed, corrected, and kept separate from ads and user-generated material.

Original value

A guide must help a group make a concrete planning decision. It should include an original framework, checklist, worked example, or explanation grounded in TripQuorum's collaborative planning model. Pages created only to target a search phrase, repeat other pages, or display advertising are not eligible for publication or monetization.

AI-assisted drafting

Automation may assist with outlining, editing, code, or an early draft. It may not publish or monetize a guide by itself. Before an article becomes eligible to carry an ad, a person must review its accuracy, originality, internal links, examples, safety language, and usefulness. A deployment flag keeps all ad code disabled until that review is explicitly confirmed.

Sources and verification

General planning methods should be explained in TripQuorum's own words. Time-sensitive claims about entry rules, health, safety, accessibility, schedules, availability, or prices must point readers toward current primary sources rather than present an unverified answer as fact. Editorial pages do not provide legal, medical, immigration, financial, or professional travel advice.

Corrections and updates

Each guide displays a review date. Material changes should update that date. If an article cannot be verified or no longer offers substantial value, it should be corrected, consolidated, removed from the sitemap, or excluded from monetization rather than left as stale filler.

Advertising separation

Ads may appear only after the substantive article, with an Advertisement label and enough visual separation that the unit cannot be mistaken for a button, menu, download, recommendation, or internal link. TripQuorum does not ask users to click ads and does not place Google ads on login, account, private trip, messaging, navigation, error, empty-state, or story pages.

Commercial independence

An advertiser does not choose guide topics, approve conclusions, receive private traveler data, or buy favorable editorial treatment. A displayed ad is not a TripQuorum endorsement. If the site later publishes sponsored material or uses an affiliate link, that relationship must be disclosed beside the relevant content and must not change the evidence or planning method presented.

User-generated stories

Public trip stories belong to their contributors and are separate from TripQuorum's editorial guides. They do not carry Google ads and remain excluded from search indexing unless a distinct manual moderation and editorial review process is implemented. Users must have permission to publish every photo and piece of text they add.
